On a day in which I assumed I'd be back at school, I am, instead, sitting in my bed (sitting
is good, as I've been pretty much flat out for the last three days) poking around on the 'net,
looking for new things to check out. So I stumble upon (no, not with StumbleUpon) VOX, a blog site/service that I'd seen before, but hadn't really taken time to check out.
I was actually looking at the
Moleskinerie site, one of my favorite geek-fan-sites, and saw a post and video about a new line of bags from the former CEO of Timbuk2, Mark Dwight. So one thing led to another, I was impressed with the product, but also with the blog of Patrick Ng, "
Scription: Thoughts on Stationery and Beyond". Some good stuff there, especially for those of us with heavy-duty paper-goods addictions.
So aside from this little discovery, here's my mission for the day: to sort through all the Web 2.0 sites and such that I've been using, and try to figure out which ones to keep up, and which ones to toss. I've currently got sites going on Blogger, Wordpress, Vox and Xanga, and possibly others I'm not remembering at the moment (hey, I've had the flu, cut me some slack!) And then there are the social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Flickr...so many sites, too little time! What's a girl to do? Somebody help me!
